NICE! Mark one up for Caleb..... Kids are so totally smart! We always talk about the lesson from revival "when you're squeezed, does Jesus come out, or something nasty?" Jesus doesn't always come out, but that's what we strive for.

I was thinking about what I would do in this situation, and I realized that I never would have asked that lady for help in the first place. I would have immediately started hoofing it for the gas station. Considering you're a card-carrying Republican, I'm kind of surprised you expected a social safety-net rather than self reliance.

P.S. Glad to see that things haven't changed in 18 years...still driving a van low on fuel...you don't have VW bug, too, do you?

John, you should have swallowed your pride and called the government to fix your problem. It would have been a great photo moment. Hillary putting a gallon of gas in your van and Obama checking to see if you had enough air in your tires.

Thank Caleb for the lesson. I wish all of the candidates (Rep & Dem) would learn the art of a strong message with so few words.
